Initial Replication Configuration

You can configure whether the WINS server replicates with its replication partners it starts. Check the Initial Replication option under Pull Parameters on the WINS Server Configuration dialog to have a pull replication partner replicate on start up. You can also specify the number of times the pull partner tries to contact the other WINS server as the pull partner does the startup replication.

For a push partner, you can also configure it to replicate upon startup by checking the Initial Replication option under Push Parameters. You can also specify that the push partner replicates when it has an address change.
