Monitoring from the RAS Server

From the server, you can use the Remote Access Admin tool to monitor the ports. From the Start menu, choose Programs, Administrative tools, RAS Admin. You will see the Admin tool (see Figure 17.26).

Select the server you want to look at and double-click the server. A list of the communications ports appears (see Figure 17.27). For every port that is available on the server, you will see the current user’s name and the time of his initial connection.

From here you can disconnect users or send a message to a single user or all users who are connected to the server. You can also check the Port Status, which shows you all the connection information for the port (see Figure 17.28).
