Installing the RAS Server

The following steps describe the process of installing RAS.

1.	Open the Network Setting dialog box (Start, Settings, Control Panel, Network).
2.	From the Services tab, choose Add.
3.	From the list that appears, choose Remote Access Service and click OK.
4.	When prompted, enter the path to the Windows NT source files.
5.	RAS asks you for the device that it should use at that point. (This includes ISDN and X.25.)
6.	The Remote Access Setup dialog box appears (see Figure 17.22). Click Continue (the options for this dialog box are discussed soon).
7.	From the Network settings dialog box, click Close.
8.	When prompted, shut down and restart your system.
