Exercise 17.6: Assigning Permissions

You will now provide your users with dial-in Permissions and review the Remote Access Admin program.

1.	Start the User Manager for Domains (User Manager will work well in this case.)
2.	Choose User, New user and enter the following information:
	Username	Bilbo
	Full name	Bilbo Baggins
	Description	Hobbit (small with fury feet)
	Password	Blank
3.	Click the Dial-in icon and check the “Grant dial in permission.”
4.	Click OK to close the dial-in screen and OK to add the user.
5.	Close User Manager for Domains.
6.	Open the Remote Access Admin program from the Administrative Tools group.
7.	Choose Users, Permissions from the menu. Click on Bilbo’s name in the list. Does he have dial-in permission? (He should.)
8.	Choose the account you logged on as; if you do not have dial-in permission, grant it to yourself.
